All FI content partners have participated in a plenary meeting held on October 30-31 on the occasion of the 2013 NEM Summit in Nantes, France. A total of 30 participants representing the 18 companies and research centers involved in the FI content project have spent these two days assessing the progress made since their last plenary meeting of July 2-3 in Berlin and discussing the planning of activities to be undertaken in the next three months. The overall status of the activities was unanimously considered as satisfactory, all of them developing according to the overall work plan and no particular areas of concern being noted. Good progress was made in particular on the publication of the Open Call and of the Competition on September 30, 2013. The development of the three platforms (social connected TV, smart city services, and pervasive games) is also in good progress: a set of demos of innovative applications and services already enabled by these platforms had been showcased at FI content exhibition booth and parallel workshop during the 2013 NEM Summit. The participation of FI content partners at the 2013 NEM Summit has allowed a fruitful interaction with external stakeholders, particularly SMEs and developers interested in using the FI content platforms and benefitting from funding opportunities provided by the Open Call.
