“Turning visions into reality” was the motto of dmexco 2013, the two-day exposition and conference on digital marketing that took place on 18th and 19th of September in Cologne (Germany). Perfectly in line with this motto, FIcontent participated in the event by presenting Specific Enablers from the upcoming Social Connected TV Platform: Fraunhofer IAIS showed latest developments of the Specific Enablers Audio Fingerprinting, Audio Mining and Content Optimisation at the Fraunhofer booth. Numerous visitors took the chance to have a shot at Second Screen synchronisation and recommendation applications. For example, visitors tested the FIcontent Audio Fingerprinting App for Android and its Second Screen synchronisation capabilities. Thanks to the kind support of RBB, visitors tried out the Audio Fingerprinting App with exciting news content on tablet devices. They also relaxed for a while in the artfully-created ‘living room’ environment in order to experience the convenience of Second Screen entertainment while enjoying some jelly babies. At this year’s dmexco, 742 exhibitors from 26 countries presented their latest solutions for online marketing and digital media in 3 halls. Over 24,000 experts attended the event, representing companies from advertising, content, technologies and media and more.
