First cycle of experimentation in Brittany

Brittany Experimentation site

After some weeks dedicated to specifications and developments of its Smart City Guide application, Orange, with the collaboration of ImaginLab, has launched on 21th October in Brest a first cycle of experimentation involving 30 students, which will end at mid-December. This first version of the Smart City Guide by Orange integrates 2 specifics enablers from Orange and one from Thales. A second experimentation with 30 others users will follow soon in Rennes and Lannion, which will be dedicated to the Social Connected TV solution, developed by Technicolor and managed by Technicolor and ImaginLab. New versions of these applications will be tested later during a second cycle of experimentation starting in July, with enhanced functionalities, and integrating more enablers on XIFI infrastructures. The city of Brest help to supply with a lot of sources of contents: about 30 sources have been integrated and aggregate to offer a rich experience. First feedbacks show poor errors and an interest for the application
