Entrants to the Future Internet Games Contest were on show Sunday 10 August at Dare ProtoPlay, Scotland’s biggest video games festival. This competition was looking for experimental pervasive games that enable large groups of people to play together in the real world. The winner of the Future Internet Games Contest organised by the FIcontent partners has been unveiled and went to lasAR by Ateo.
At this occasion, three nominees for the BAFTA Ones to Watch Award were also revealed. These are the three games that won the Dare to be Digital, an international game design competition for students run annually by Abertay University in Dundee.

Dare to be Digital is a video game development competition for undergraduates at universities and colleges of art, hosted and run by Abertay University in Dundee.
Teams of student programmers and artists compete in an intensive ‘hot-house’ development environment over the summer vacation, building fully-functioning prototypes for assessment by industry judges and a public vote at Dare ProtoPlay in Dundee, 7-10 August 2014.
