The HbbTV Application Toolkit (HAT) will be presented and used by the attendees of the TV Hackday ’15, to be held on September 26-27, at the Academie Lounge in Berlin.
This event, “24 Hours of pure creativity”, invites creatives, tinkerers, inventors, tech geeks, storyteller, design junkies and strategists alike to work together and do remixes, apps, hacks, the next TV Set or anything as long as it is a TV related project that can be done in 24 hours.
The HbbTV Application Toolkit (HAT), developed within the framework of the FIcontent 2 project, will enable participants to create interesting, new and innovative applications, and to experiment with the creation of new modules offering further interaction on TV screens. The FIcontent 2 HbbTV Best Practice Guidelines “Developing Applications for Social Connected TV. Guidelines for Developers and Content Producers” will be provided as supporting materials for this event.
