The FIcontent initiative enters its second phase (covering the period April 2013 – March 2015) with a partnership of 18 leading European companies and research organisations who had sent a total of over 40 representatives to this kick-off meeting held in the premises of Technicolor, FIcontent coordinator, from April 16 to 18. Pieter Van den Linden and Henri Fourdeux from Technicolor friendly welcomed the participants and moderated the discussions that allowed, all along the three days, to carefully review the work to be done in the next two years and agree on a detailed work plan for the six coming months. FIcontent will develop and experiment across Europe open platforms devoted to innovative applications and services in the areas of social connected TV, smart city services, pervasive games. The partnership as a whole showed itself very confident in the fact they can and will engage the widest community of developers and SMEs in their activities. All partners also confirmed their determination to fully contribute to the success of the FI-PPP programme in the context of which their initiative has been launched.
