Visitors to the RBB Innovation Projects’ booth at IFA ranged from high-level broadcast advisory boards to school classes, the general public and (children’s TV character) Shaun the Sheep.
Guests showed great interest in our FIcontent demos. Trade visitors from the broadcast and online domains confirmed that the HbbTV Application Toolkit meets the real need of editors to create HbbTV apps from a simple web-based front end. The general public also enjoyed using the social media app on TV; this app was created using the toolkit, which is being developed by FOKUS, IRT and RBB in FIcontent.
We are now looking forward to our experiments in November in Berlin where we will test both the toolkit and the social media app on the TV. Watch this space for more information!
